Prices, Prices, Prices…

Over the last few weeks we have been bombarded with price increases from suppliers of many different products relating to cotton (of course), papers, polyester based products (that have their origin in oil!) and this has meant that prices have had to go up. On the one hand we know that everyone has been “afflicted” by this (and that fact does not make it easier), and on the other hand we have all been prepared for this by various articles in the trade press and general media who have been warning for some time that prices of basic staple products, minerals, energy are all on the rise. In addition VAT has increased to 20% and inflation is increasing whilst we are still in an economy where growth is weak or non existent.

All this is to say that we are most aware of the problems that price increases cause. We, at William Gee, do not take your business for granted and are most grateful for your custom – and this applies to our old established customers as well as to new customers who are “trying us out”. We aim to provide assitance and service as well as products and  look forward to the favour of your orders.
