I love this place. They have pretty much everything I need from a haberdashery. It's a small shop so you might think you won't find everything but the staff are all really helpful, and you can always order online for collection if you need a better browse.

We have worked with William Gee for years and they have always been fantastic. Always been friendly, helpful and delivered on time. The rare time there has been any issues they have been in contact straight way. Not quite a one stop shop and often more expensive than more trade only suppliers, but an excellent range, great website, quick turn around and of course a lovely team in-store.The best mix of a trade and retail trimmings shop in the capital

I’ve been a customer with William Gee for many years and they always provide excellent service, but the POT LUCK ZIPS exceeded my expectations! There are about 50 zips in each of my bags… (only opened 2 so far)… but there are metal zips, standard zips, open-ended zips and even a few concealed zips!!!! And so many different colours! Loved buying the wonderful range of items from Gee's, unfortunately they are no longer worth buying from as they now use a courier to Northern Ireland who's charges double the cost of goods. Post office would be preferable for us in NI

There's a good range of online here. My first order had a small mistake, this was corrected straight away, and replacement was DHL'd over quickly. Even though all of this was online, a good friendly service is always very welcome.

I've been using them ever since, for all my various businesses and side hustles - fashion, soft furnishings & upholstery, bags & accessories. William Gee was the only place I could find that would supply thread on-line. They also have a good range of other haberdashery items, and stocked elastic when most other outlets had run out. When one item (a marking pencil) was faulty, I emailed in to let them know and within a couple of hours had a reply and the replacement was delivered the following day. This was mid-lockdown when all haberdashers are very busy and much quicker than other outlets. They are now the first place I’ll look to order any haberdashery.

Got this bias maker at William Gee London. Lovely little place if you fancy quick items for any sewing or craft project. They sell threads, zippers, lining, interfaces and some quirky unusual sewing supplies. Feel free to pop in there if your a crafts person. Also I must add that they have good customer service. I forgot my bag of groceries there and when I went back to get it they had put it in the fridge. How nice and thoughtful.

Quick and easy to order and arrived quickly. The only thing I would say wasn't great was that I didn't receive an email to say my order had been dispatched and when it would be arriving. I got a text on the day of delivery to say it would be delivered in a few hours (whilst I was away from home) and the text came from a number I couldn't reply to - luckily a neighbour took my package in. Otherwise - great stock, fast delivery and exactly what I ordred

Incredible sewing and craft shop, reminds me of long established sewing shops in Manchester growing up in the 80s. It's not a massive shop but they have everything you could ever want at very competitive prices. I also love their bargain bundles and bags.Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful too. I have done both click and collect online and bought from the shop in person, both great experiences but if you're easily tempted I advise the former option.
