Vilene Framilastic 6mm

A transparent, elastic PU tape for ladies’ wear, lingerie, swimwear and sportswear. It is seamless and can be fixed by sewing without problems. For shoulder seams, top edges, seams, armhole, creative accents (ruffles, ripples).

Framilastic is a high elastic clear PU tape (stretchable up to 450%). Ideal for shape retention on parts from elastic fabrics as well as creating your own personal touch for various creative applications.

Framilastic is suitable for garments in elastic fabrics, e.g. sportswear, leggings, shirts, underwear and swimwear. Also ideal for support and securing of elastic waistbands or round edges such as shoulder seam and armhole. A transparent, elastic tape perfect for stabilising seams in stretch fabrics like jersey and viscose. It’s ideal for ruching, shoulder seams, and swimwear or sportswear – offering strength without compromising flexibility.

Framilastic is a strong, sew-in tape with very high elasticity, skin friendly, resistant towards bleach and is heat resistant up to 130°C.

Use:
1. Cut Framilastic shorter than the length of the distance to sew – depending how much gathering you want.
2. Sew Framilastic with a zigzag stitch at the beginning (approx. 1 cm). Then stretch it to the full length of the distance to sew. Sew a zigzag stitch down to the entire length of Framilastic.
3. Be aware to sew in the middle of Framilastic. This makes it lay evenly and lends it an even stability.

CARE: we recommend not to use fabric softener during washing.
