Description
Vilene Eco 150 is a 100% biodegradable wadding with high insulation performance while completely preventing any plastic contamination to the environment. It’s a heavy, extremely bulky, sewable wadding with a soft handle made of 100% recycled polyester fibres with a high migration resistance.
The Eco 150 Wadding has a base material gained from renewable sources (Eucalyptus trees) and requires far less water than any other fibre made from natural polymers. Water used in the manufacturing process is 100% recycled. Chemicals used in the production process are almost completely recycled (99%) and are not present in the fibres.
Vilene Eco-150 is compostable after 30 days and completely biodegradable in natural conditions and soil after 57 days! There’s no impact on the environment after biodegrading and it features a water repellent finish. Bacteria and odour-inhibiting.
High resistance against fibre migration due to antistatic fibre properties and spray binder bonding technology. Sew by hand or machine. Quilting distance 15-20cm.
