The range of darning needles made of hardened steel offers short needles for darning woolen garments and socks, as well as long needles for more delicate darning work. These needles have the typical tapered shape of a sewing needle, but are considerably larger and therefore feature a proportionally larger eye. This also allows for threading sturdy yarns and wool. The surface of the darning needles is burr-free and has a rust-resistant coating. This ensures that the needle can be easily guided through the material. Prym offers long darning needles in an assorted set containing 10 high-quality needles.
