No puckering despite maximum elasticity! Gutermann Maraflex Sewing Thread is a flexible polyester thread with a variety or product uses. 150m spools, with 80 colours available in stock!

These special sewing threads are characterised by extraordinary elasticity. The seams are pucker-free and smooth which makes them ideally suited for closing and decorative seams, especially on lockstitch machines. Suitable for highly-elastic fine woven and knitted textiles in men’s and ladies’ wear as well as lingerie and sportswear.

Gutermann Maraflex on 150m Spools can be sewn very well. Double chain stitch seams can be replaced by double lockstitch seams without compromising on elasticity! Thanks to lower tension settings, the ideal seam elasticity can be achieved already with 4 stiches/cm. Gutermann Maraflex 120 Threads are ideal for visible, elastic decorative seams.

Potential Uses: 
– Fabric recommendation: Light to medium-weight knitwear, for example jersey, or light to medium weight elastic woven fabrics, fabrics containing elastane.
– Ideal for closing and visible elastic decorative seams
– Ideal for sewing around necklines, tight seams and sleeve and leg cuffs.
